We carefully remove 50% of the scent glands from our Venison Leggies and make every effort not to waste any part of our animal products!
While dogs love the scent, humans might not be as fond of it. These venison glands don’t seem to have as strong a smell as when attached to the legs because they’re dehydrated rather than air-dried, though I haven’t personally broken them open to smell after dehydration.
